Effective Date: September 18, 2025
(Previously updated January 21, 2025)
Our Approach to Personal Data
We do not directly collect or store your personal data for our own use. However, when you interact with the Lirum Labs Services, certain information (including possible personal data) may be sent to third parties. Specifically:
Analytics: We use third-party services such as Google Analytics for usage metrics. Any personal data collected through these services is governed by the relevant third party’s privacy policy.
AI Features: If you use AI-driven functionalities within the Lirum Labs Services, the prompts or other data you provide may be sent to our AI providers—OpenAI, Anthropic, and/or Deepseek. Once sent, that data is governed by the respective provider’s privacy policies.
Please review these external providers’ privacy policies to understand how they handle personal data.
Additional clarification for Apple App Review:
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (Auto-Renewing): Purchases and subscription billing are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment details (e.g., full credit card numbers). We may access non-personal subscription status information (e.g., whether an active subscription exists) provided by Apple frameworks to enable premium features.
Support Communications (Optional): If you email us or contact support, we will process the information you choose to provide (e.g., your email address and message) solely to respond to your inquiry.
Crash/Diagnostics (Optional): If you enable crash reports/analytics (e.g., via Apple or third-party analytics SDKs), technical logs may be generated and governed by those providers’ policies.
Information Collected by Third Parties
Although Lirum Labs does not directly collect or store personal data, third-party services may collect certain information when you use the Lirum Labs Websites or Lirum Labs Services:
Usage Data: Google Analytics and similar tools may automatically gather your IP address, browser details, device identifiers, and browsing behavior for analytics and site functionality.
AI Interaction Data: When you use any AI feature (e.g., sending prompts), your query and associated data are transmitted to OpenAI, Anthropic, or Deepseek. From that point onward, your data is subject to each AI provider’s privacy policy.
We encourage you to consult the privacy policies of these third-party services for detailed information on their data practices.
Third-party examples (non-exhaustive):
Google Analytics
Apple (App Store / in-app purchases / subscription management)
OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepseek (AI features)
Cookies
Certain parts of the Lirum Labs Websites may utilize cookies or similar technologies. These tools can be used by our third-party analytics or service providers to recognize your device, learn about how you use our site, and provide us with reports. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so could limit site functionality.
Do Not Track (DNT): Your browser may offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no industry standard governing DNT, third-party services we rely on may not respond to DNT signals.
How Information is Used
Even though Lirum Labs does not directly collect or store personal data, we may use general usage insights—provided to us by third-party analytics—to:
-
Improve and personalize our websites and services.
-
Diagnose technical problems.
-
Understand aggregate user behavior to enhance user experience.
AI Features: Data you submit to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepseek) is used to generate responses or outputs. Once transmitted, such data is governed by each provider’s privacy policy and may be retained or processed according to their terms.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (Auto-Renewing) – Additional details for transparency:
Payment Processing: Handled by Apple. We do not store payment card details.
Receipts/Status: Apple may provide subscription status to your device/app to unlock premium features. We treat this status as non-personal service information and do not use it for cross-service tracking or advertising.
Manage/Cancel: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings or at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Sharing of Information
Public Forums
If you post information publicly (e.g., on blogs, forums, or other community features), that information can be accessed by anyone. Lirum Labs is not responsible for personal data you choose to make public.
Third-Party Services and Partners
Analytics: We may share technical usage details with Google Analytics or similar platforms to help us understand site performance.
AI Providers: Prompts and associated data for AI-powered features are shared with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Deepseek. Their use of such data is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Legal and Compliance
We may disclose information (if any is held) to protect legal rights, safety, or property, or to comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.
Change of Control
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets involving Lirum Labs, any aggregated information and non-personal data we handle may be transferred to relevant third parties. However, because Lirum Labs does not store personal data, no personal data would be transferred by us.
Control Over Your Information
Since Lirum Labs does not directly collect or maintain personal data, we do not store any personal details for you to edit or delete. If you have concerns about data collected via third-party services (analytics, AI providers), please refer to their respective opt-out or deletion mechanisms:
-
Google Analytics Opt-Out
-
OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepseek (consult individual provider policies for data removal or control options)
Your Privacy Rights (where applicable): Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA, Canada under PIPEDA/Quebec Law 25), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object/restrict certain processing. Since we do not store personal data, you will typically exercise these rights directly with the relevant third-party provider(s) that collected or processed your data. If you contact us, we will help direct you to the appropriate provider contact or mechanism.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the integrity of our websites and services. However, because we do not store personal data, any personal data security considerations primarily fall under the third-party services that receive it (Google Analytics, OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepseek). Each maintains its own security practices to protect data they collect or process.
International Transfers: Third-party providers may process data globally. Where applicable, such providers state the mechanisms they rely upon (e.g., SCCs) in their privacy notices.
Data Retention
We do not retain personal data because we do not store it. Aggregated or anonymized technical information (if any) retained by us is kept only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes (e.g., service integrity, security, aggregate analytics) and then deleted or de-identified. Third-party providers determine their own retention periods—please consult their policies.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by local law (e.g., 13 in the U.S.). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to a third-party provider through our services, please contact that provider (and notify us so we can assist in directing your request).
Third-Party Links
Our websites and services may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or prominent notice on the Lirum Labs Websites. Your continued use of the Lirum Labs Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
